Gregory Bolan, Avondale Partners

Currently, Greg Bolan can be found working as a Senior Research Analyst at Avondale Partners, LLC, a boutique investment banking and asset management firm in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he is primarily focused on the healthcare and targeted middle market sectors, and there is a reason for that. He has a lot of experience and education to back him up.

Following high school, Gregory Bolan served four years in the United States Army as an Infantry Rifleman and Squad Leader. After that, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta. Over the course of the past decade, Greg has been honing his skills as a researcher in the financial field and it is that experience that makes every investment decision he makes special.

Before joining Avondale Partners, Greg was the Managing Director of Healthcare Equity Research with Sterne Agee in their Nashville office. There, he was recognized as a No. 1 Stock Picker for Life Science Tools & Services by Starmine in 2014. That wasn’t the first time he was recognized for his skills, however. Back in 2010, he was recognized as the “Best Up & Comer” as part of Institutional Investor's All-American Research Team Survey in 2010.

Gregory Bolan played a crucial role when it came to building an extremely skilled and knowledgeable team of healthcare analysts to examine such sub-sectors as Specialty Pharma, Managed Care and Medical Devices & Diagnostics. Greg's experience is vast and it includes time as a Director of Healthcare Equity Research for the Nashville office of Wells Fargo Securities, as well as stints as a Senior Associate of Healthcare Equity Research with Jefferies & Company in Nashville and as an Associate with a focus in healthcare at FNY GMG Capital in New York.
